UPDATE: OPP cancels Amber Alert regarding two 13-year-olds

The provincial police force cancelled an Amber Alert for two 13-year-old children, about one hour after issuing it on Friday night.
The boy and girl, both 13 years old, had last been seen in Alliston, Ont., in the company of two females. Shortly after 10 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police said the situation was resolved.
“The children have been found safe,” the OPP said.
Ontario Amber Alert has been cancelled. The children have been located safe.

Amber Alerts are issued in order for law enforcement to broadcast as much information about the child, the abductor and suspect vehicles as quickly as possible so the public can respond with any relevant information that might lead to the safe return of the child. An automated message is sent to mobile phones throughout the affected regions.
Anyone who observes a party matches the description of the suspects and the abductees mentioned in an Amber Alert should call 911.
