UPDATE: Niagara Police speak to woman from St Catharines beach incident; after investigation, no charges laid

UPDATE: The subject of the below investigation as well as the two females involved contacted detectives today (July 28) after reading the media release. An investigation was conducted and there are no grounds to lay a criminal charge and the investigation has been concluded.

Niagara Regional Police are continuing their search for a suspicious woman who approached a three-year-old boy at Sunset Beach in St Catharines on July 24.

The police just released photos of the women and the two friends accompanying her that day.

While nothing happened to the boy, who was with his mother, police are still interested in contacting the woman as to her intent.

All three women were described as Middle Eastern and between the ages of 25 to 39 years old.

The woman of interest has a medium build, black hair going halfway down her back and was wearing a gray-black shirt and jegging shorts.

Her first companion also has a medium build, black hair tied in a bun with black t-shirt and shorts.

The second companion is described as having a thin build, fluffy black hair in a pony-tail, wearing a tie-dye shirt and jean shorts.
