UPDATE: Mississauga woman reportedly carjacked

Peel police say a woman was carjacked Saturday morning while inside her vehicle.

Police received the call at 11:27 a.m. and say the woman was sitting in the vehicle at Barbican and Folkway Dr in Mississauga while she approached by two men–directing her to get out of the car.

No injuries were reported and the woman says the suspects did not have weapons.

Peel police were not able to provide a description of the vehicle or the suspects.

UPDATE: Peel police say the vehicle has been located “a short distance away by officers”. The suspect, however, is still outstanding. The Central Robbery Bureau has taken carriage of investigation, according to police.
