UPDATE: Man dead after multiple shots fired at Hamilton restaurant

Police are seeking witnesses and video as they investigate a homicide in Hamilton today (Nov. 14).

At around 2:30 a.m., officers were called to Raoabe Restaurant Lounge and Bar on Upper Ottawa Street for reports of a shooting.

A 26-year-old male was found inside the establishment with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police say two male suspects were seen fleeing the bar in dark clothing. No further suspect description is available.

“There will be a heavy police presence in the area as police canvass for video and witnesses,” said police. “There were also a large number of patrons inside the bar at the time of the shooting and Hamilton Police encourage anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.”
