Update: Linc Parkway crash leaves 60-year-old Hamilton man with life altering injuries

Hamilton Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that closed the Lincoln Alexander Parkway westbound for a period of time yesterday.

On May 23, a Honda motorcycle travelling westbound on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway collided with the rear of a Hyundai SUV, causing the rider to be ejected.

The 60-year-old driver of the Honda motorcycle was transported to hospital and remains in stable condition with life-altering injuries.

A witness told insauga.com that the motorcyclist lost his leg below the knee in the crash.

The driver of the Hyundai SUV was also transported to hospital and remains in stable condition, according to a press release by Hamilton police.

Police are asking for help from witnesses with dash camera footage who may have been travelling westbound on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway between 8:15 to 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
