Upcoming job fair in Brampton will take applications for jobs in recreation, parks and forestry

For those who want to work for the City of Brampton, particularly in the parks and recreation sector, an upcoming job fair this week is for you.
On Thursday, Feb 23, interested applicants are invited to bring their resume on a USB flash drive to Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre located at 292 Conestoga Dr.
The job fair, focusing on summer jobs in recreation and parks maintenance and forestry, will be held from 2-7 p.m.
The City is also planning a job fair next month on March 18 for part-time jobs at the Chinguacousy Park Mini Moo Farm petting zoo.
Aside from parks and recreation, the City is continuing to take applications for job positions in various other sectors: Camps, customer service, fitness, sports, preschool services and more.
The City says additional benefits include paid training, flexible schedules, and access to discounted memberships.
