Upcoming Hip-Hop Duo Looks To Fill Void In The Music Industry

A up and coming R&B and hip-hop duo from Mississauga is looking to bring something new to the music industry.
S4G4 was formed with the creative minds of the artists Demyn Joel and Rahdel. They met over five years ago when Rahdel recruited Demyn to be a part of his music collective at the time known as Iconiq Muzik.
They were able to form a unique bond with eachother, and with their love for music they were able to have a remarkable chemistry when in the studio. As time went on, making their art became much more enjoyable and they found a goal they strived for together.
The two of them came up with concepts, melodies and lyrics to songs, crafting unique music that can be best described as a breath of fresh air in the industry.
S4G4’s goal and inspiration is to be able to bring new music forward that fills the hole the industry currently is experiencing.
The main element of their music focuses on both the high and low parts of life as well as how they overcome obstacles while trying to make a name for themselves in the world of music.

The tone of their music is lighthearted with upbeat production and powerful melodies. The goal is for listeners to get a look the artist’s lives.
Their debut single Bruce Wayne pays homage to classics from the late 90’s and early 2000s with a contemporary twist. The song is one of the best examples of Demyn and Rahdel demonstrating their vocal versatility as well as showcases the chemistry they have at its best.
The duo say they have confidence as musicians and are hardworking to be the best they can be. They are comfortable being who they are, yet speak about topics that make others feel powerless or vulnerable, themselves included.
The duo currently has five singles released; Bruce Wayne, Splash, SWYW, Simple, Assumptions and DMT. The songs were inspired based on different experiences the group went through, as well as their opinion and view on topics like relationships and working to make ends meet.
