UP Express trains delayed this morning to Pearson Airport in Mississauga, Ontario

Travellers to Pearson Airport in Mississauga may want to give themselves extra time.

Due to a signal issue west of Bloor GO, there was no UP Express train service to or from Pearson Airport in Mississauga this morning (July 16), according to an alert posted on the UP Express website.

There was an express bus service running between Union and Pearson Airport.

The signal issue was repaired and service was restored as of 7:38 a.m.

UP Express trains have started to run again but there could be minor delays until 9:30 a.m.

“You may have longer than normal wait times until further notice,” according to the alert.
