Are you in the mood for a feast comprised of brisket, smoked chicken, pulled pork and sausage?

If you’re a meat lover, you might be happy to hear that Food Fight Barbecue Bar, a Brampton-based restaurant that prepares traditional barbecue in a uniquely Canadian way, is opening a new location in Mississauga.

The restaurant offers what it calls “northern barbecue culture.”

“Born and raised in the most multicultural city on the planet, we specialize in customary slow-smoked barbecue typically found down south, but with an infusion of spices and techniques passed down from our Caribbean, Asian, and Canadian heritage,” the restaurant’s website reads.

According to the site, the resto uses Canadian-raised meat and cooks it over naturally selected and harvested Ontario wood.

As far as food goes, the menu features chicken fingers, MadMac and cheese, poutine, sandwiches, burgers, sliders, and a vast selection of Food Fight feasts featuring everything from chicken to ribs.

The restaurant also offers a number of side dishes, such as onion rings, grilled corn and more.

The resto is expected to open in the Erin Mills Centre plaza in the Eglinton Ave. and Ridgeway Dr. area sometime next month.
