Unclaimed $1,000,000 Lotto Max ticket sold in Bowmanville, $100,000 encore sold in Whitby

Two Lotto Max players from Durham Region have had an incredibly lucky week. A ticket sold in Bowmanville made the as yet unknown winner $1 million richer, while a ticket sold in Whitby net a player a cool $100,000.

The draw on April 19 resulted in the largest Lotto Max jackpot winnings ever sold online. The unclaimed jackpot is worth a whopping $60 million and was sold via OLG.ca.

The draw also resulted in three unclaimed Maxmillions winners of $1 million sold in Chatham-Kent, Bowmanville and Hamilton.

A ticket winning $168,471.10 was sold in Ottawa and an Encore draw net someone from Oakville another $1 million.

Finally, two Encore winning tickets worth $100,000 a piece were sold in Thunder Bay and Whitby.

Players can check their tickets online via OLG.ca and LOG smartphone app. Lotto Max draws twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays. If players match all seven numbers they win either the jackpot or a MaxMillions prize.

The next draw, set for Friday April 22, is up to $17 million.
