Unauthorized enhancement products seized in Mississauga, Whitby and other municipalities

A statement from Health Canada has been released concerning illegal enhancement products seized in southern Ontario.

According to an official statement, numerous unsanctioned sexual enhancement products were found throughout several municipalities in the GTA.

These products have been tested — and according to Health Canada — contain unknown quantities of potentially hazardous and harmful materials.

Health Canada’s report also indicated that these unauthorized products and their corresponding seizure locations were several convenience and tobacco stores in Mississauga, Markham and Whitby.

Chemicals found in these unsanctioned enhancement products include sildenafil and tadalafil, two compounds that when manufactured and given the green light by proper pharmaceutical channels, are often found in products like Cialis and Viagra.

However, due to the unauthorized nature of these seized products, there is an immense risk that comes with their consumption.

For more details on the locations where these products were seized, visit Health Canada’s official website.
