Tyandaga Golf Course in Burlington to open this weekend

Tyandaga Golf Course in Burlington will be opening on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

The golf course will open with COVID-19 safety precautions in place to minimize the spread of the virus and to keep golfers and staff safe.

Those interested in booking a tee time may do so online or by phone between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. by calling 905-336-0005. Residents are reminded that there will be no walk-in green fees.

Tyandaga will be open daily, 7 days a week, from 6:30 a.m. to close.

Here are a few things players should know before visiting the golf course.

There will be no tournaments at this time. Lessons and rental clubs are also not available.

Payment will be accepted by credit or debit card only. No cash payments will be accepted.

Due to COVID-19, the dining area will be closed. Food and beverage services will be limited to window take-out services only.

The Clubhouse will be closed except for the washrooms and the pro-shop area. Only one guest will be allowed in the pro-shop and washroom at a time.

Practice greens and practice chipping areas will be open. Sand bunker rakes have been removed and any shots in the bunker are a free drop.

Players are reminded that wearing masks is mandatory while in the power cart, if not from the same household. All power carts will be equipped with dividers for player safety.

Additionally, all high-contact surfaces will be regularly sanitized including payment terminals, all service-related surfaces, power carts and bathrooms.
