Two women charged in Mississauga shooting

Two Mississauga men charged in Toronto home invasion and carjacking.

Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau at Peel Region Police have charged two women in relation to a shooting in Mississauga.

On Sunday, June 19, 2022, at approximately 3:15 a.m., Peel police received reports of gunfire in the area of Enfield Place and Kariya Drive in Mississauga.

Upon arrival, the officers located evidence of shots fired.

On Thursday, July 28, 2022, investigators charged 23-year-old Fatuma Mohammed of Toronto with the following offence:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

On Thursday, July 28, 2022, investigators charged 21-year-old Azara Robertson of Milton with the following offences:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Discharge Firearm in Reckless Manner

The charged parties were held pending a bail hearing and attended court by way of video remand on July 28, 2022.
