Niagara Police in Grimsby are now investigating two separate occasions of teenage women being followed by two different unknown males.

In the first incident, a teenage woman was walking home in the Canborough Road and Townline Road area at 10:30 pm on July 10. A male suspect pulled over near her, walked up to the fence separating them and according to police, “then alleged to have exposed himself.”

He quickly got back into his car and fled the scene. He is described as white, medium weight and build, 20-30 years of age.

The following night, another teenage woman in West Lincoln faced unwanted attention from a different man.

Between 9:30 and 10:30 pm, she was walking in the Townline Road and Wade Road area when she noticed a man following her on foot.

Although there was no interaction, a sharp-eyed motorist saw the situation and quickly offered her a safe ride home.

In this incident, the man was described as white, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-8, medium weight and build, 40 to 60 years old with thinning grey or white hair.

Anyone (residents or businesses) in the area with closed circuit security cameras, doorbell video cameras, or dash cameras are asked to review their footage for suspicious activity for the period between 10 pm on July 10 and 11 pm on July 11.

Detectives are actively investigating these incidents and as part of the ongoing investigation are now seeking any information that may help identify the male(s) to determine if these incidents are related. Detectives are continuing to interview the victims and witnesses. Anyone with information can contact the detective at 905-688-4111, ext 1009935
