Two-vehicle collision temporarily closes intersection in Mississauga

A two-vehicle crash at a busy intersection in Mississauga last night has caused roads in the area to be temporarily closed off to drivers.
On Saturday (Sept. 2) at approximately 9:45 p.m., Peel Regional Police say they responded to a collision near Airport Rd. and American Dr.
As a result, the southbound lane of Airport Rd. is temporarily closed, just north of the intersection.
The circumstances surrounding the accident is unknown at this time and police have not mentioned if anyone involved sustained injuries.
As of 9:30 a.m., (Sept. 3) the roads remain closed and drivers are asked to seek alternate routes.
Investigators have not provided an estimate for when the roads will reopen to the public.
