Teens charged with attempted murder after shooting in Mississauga

Two Mississauga teens are facing an attempted murder charge after a shooting critically injured a male in Mississauga.
The shooting took place on Tuesday, April 5. Officers responded to a housing complex in the area of Britannia Road and Creditview Road for a report of gunshots.
“Upon arrival, police located a male victim suffering from gunshots wounds,” said police.
The victim was transported to a trauma centre in critical condition, and is now in stable condition.
Following an investigation into the shooting, police arrested two male youths on Friday, June 10.
A 14-year-old from Mississauga is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, and discharging a firearm with intent, while a 15-year-old from Mississauga is charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
The 14-year-old and 15-year-old appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton for a bail hearing on June 10 and 11, respectively.
The two males’ identities are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
