Two suspects have been arrested in connection to a carjacking that happened earlier this month outside of a residential building in Mississauga, where a woman was ambushed by four individuals armed with weapons.

On Tuesday (Aug. 15) shortly before 6:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police say a woman was situated inside her 2022 Honda Civic, which was parked outside of an apartment complex.

It is alleged that four suspects who had their identities hidden under a disguise approached the woman in the car while brandishing an edged weapon.

Police say shortly after the suspects demanded the vehicle, the victim was taken out of her Honda Civic by force, before the culprits drove away in the stolen car.

On Wednesday (Aug. 23) following a detailed investigation, members of the Central Robbery Bureau, officers confirmed they located and arrested two teens in relation to the robbery.

Two 17-year-olds —both from Mississauga have been charged with multiple offences including robbery and wearing a disguise with intent.
