Two teenage boys arrested after daylight stabbing in Oshawa
A man was stabbed near Simcoe St and John St on Sunday. Two teens are charged with assault and robbery.

Two teenage boys have been charged in connection to a stabbing in Oshawa Sunday night which left the victim seriously injured.

Following reports of an armed person, Durham Regional Police went out to Simcoe St S and John St around 2 p.m. May 20. On arrival they found a man, 46, suffering from serious but non-life threatening stab wounds. First responders rushed the victim to a Toronto hospital.

Meanwhile, the suspects booked it from the scene. Police found two suspects a short ways away and arrested the pair.

A 15-year-old boy from Lindsey and a 16-year-old boy of Oshawa face aggravated assault and robbery charges. Both will stay in police custody until a bail hearing. Since both suspects are minors, the Youth Criminal Justice Act protects their identities.
