Two-storey daycare centre being proposed in Milton

The Town of Milton has received an application which is proposing to redevelop a property with a two-storey daycare centre and a one-storey multi-unit commercial building.
The property is located at 7419 Tremaine Rd. in Ward 1 on the east side of Tremaine Rd. north of Main St. East and has an area of approximately 0.83 hectares.
The proposed daycare centre would have a total of 20 classrooms while the commercial building would be 929 square metres and used for both commercial and retail purposes. The application is also proposing 110 parking spaces.
This proposal is set to be discussed at an upcoming virtual statutory public meeting on May 30 at 7:00 p.m.
While members of the public are invited to provide input, a decision will not be made by Milton Council at this meeting.
