Two significant closures in Pelham over the next three days

There are two significant closures for Pelham set over the next three days.

Today and tomorrow (September 14-15), Pelham Town Square in the area between Pelham Street and the front of the Pelham Town Hall will be shut down locally from 7 am to 5 pm so that the arches can get some “foundation enhancements.”

While the notice does say “weather dependent,” it looks like both days will be sunny with clear skies in the hamlet.

However, residents are urged to “please use an alternate route.”

On Friday, September 16, the Pelham Municipal Building “will be closed to the public to allow for an all-staff event.”

The town didn’t explain that the event was regarding but said the hall is shut down for three-and-a-half hours from 10:45 am until 2:15 pm.

It will then reopen. They added, “The Pelham Meridian Community Centre, and all scheduled programs will continue to be available during this time.
