Two people are in the hospital with serious injuries after a motorcycle and a car collided in Niagara Falls.

According to Niagara Regional Police, the car and motorcycle collided on Lundy’s Ln. between Kalar Rd. and Montrose Rd. Police confirmed two people were seriously injured in the crash and rushed to a local hospital.

Investigators with the Collision Reconstruction Unit are on the scene and have closed a roughly two-kilometre stretch of road between Kalar Rd. and Montrose Rd.

As a result, all eastbound lanes on Lundy’s Ln. are closed and westbound traffic is reduced to one lane. Lundy’s Ln., also known as RR 2, is typically busy as home to numerous small businesses and hotels.

Police said there is no estimate on when the lanes may reopen.
