Two roads in Burlington face upcoming closures

Burlington motorists will have to deal with road closures in two areas next week.

On May 15, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., the intersection of Wicklow Rd. and Limerick Rd. (near Nelson Park) will be closed so that crews can repair storm sewers.

Then, over two days, Bell School Line will be closed in front of the Burlington Executive Airport runway near 5296 Bell School Line. The road will close from May 18 at 3 p.m. until May 19 at 6 a.m. This closure is a result of a film shoot.

There will be signs in place and paid-duty police officers will be on-site to assist with the Bell School Line road closure. Traffic will be detoured using Appleby Line.
