Two lanes and an off-ramp on the QEW in Mississauga will be closed to traffic for three nights/overnights this coming weekend (June 23-25) as crews continue work on the highway bridge over the Credit River.

Officials with the QEW/Credit River Improvement Project overseeing the major bridge rehabilitation work say two eastbound lanes between Erin Mills Pkwy. and the Credit River Bridge will shut down on the Friday and Saturday nights from 11 p.m. until as late at 8 a.m. the following mornings and on Sunday night from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday.

Additionally, the QEW eastbound off-ramp to South Sheridan Way will close to traffic from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. the first two nights of the weekend and on Sunday from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday.

Meanwhile, one lane of Mississauga Rd., between South Sheridan Way and Mississauga Cres., will remain closed from 10 p.m. nightly until 5 a.m. the next day through June 24.

Officials say two-way traffic will be maintained at all times under flagging conditions and access to and from Mississauga Cres. will remain open at all times.

Additionally, Premium Way, between Stavebank Rd. and Lynchmere Ave., will be down to one lane on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through June 30, project leaders say.

Officials say two-way traffic will be maintained at all times via flagging operations and all streets and roads will be accessible.
