Two people trapped on the side of the escarpment at Bronte Creek Provincial Park on Sunday (May 28) had to be rescued by the Oakville Fire Department.

A man and woman were trying to make their way down to the creek on a steep hill at the Provincial Park when the woman couldn’t carry on any further.

The male managed to call the Ontario Provincial Police who notified the Oakville Fire Department.

Rescue crews were able to make their way to the two and escort them to safety with the use of a harness and rope.
