Two people injured after vehicle crashes into a tree in Brampton

Emergency crews are on the scene of a collision in Brampton where a vehicle crashed into a tree, leaving two people injured.
The crash happened just before 11:00 a.m. at David St. and Mill St. in Brampton. Police say a vehicle collided with a tree and at least two people were injured.
Peel Paramedics have confirmed that an ambulance is on the scene, but a spokesperson could not comment on the nature of the injuries. Police said the driver of the vehicle was transported to a local hospital as a precaution while the passenger was cleared at the scene.
Drivers were being asked to avoid the area while police and paramedics are on the scene, but police said the road had reopened by around 1:45 p.m.
