Two People, Including One Child, In Critical Condition After Collision In Mississauga

Two people are in critical condition after a collision in Mississauga.

At approximately 12:30 p.m today (June 21), a vehicle hit a pedestrian in the area of Battleford Road and Erin Mills Parkway.

The vehicle remained on scene.

One person has been taken to the trauma centre. A child involved in the collision was taken to Sick Kids hospital.

The police have yet to report more information about the collision.

Erin Mills at Windwood Drive, Battleford Road at Southfield Road, Erin Mills at Millcreek Drive, Battleford Rd at Montevideo Road are all closed.

The Major Collisions Bureau is on scene.

The police are advising all drivers to avoid the area.
