Two People Hospitalized Following Shooting in Mississauga

Officers are investigating a shooting that happened overnight in Mississauga.

Police were called shortly before 3:00 a.m. for multiple shots fired at a parking lot in the area of Queensway East and Stanfield Road.

Two victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say there are two suspects involved. The suspects’ vehicle is possibly an older red Hyundai SUV.

No suspect description is available at this time.

Queensway, which was temporarily closed between Stanfield and Dixie, has since reopened.
