Two people hospitalized after serious crash with police car in Brampton

An early morning collision has hospitalized two people in Brampton today (Feb. 5).

Two vehicles, one a police cruiser, were involved in a crash at Williams Pkwy and Torbram Rd.

The collision was reported at 5:22 a.m.

The female officer was taken to local hospital while the other vehicle’s male driver went to trauma centre, police confirmed.

Both their injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

The province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) was notified and has taken carriage of the investigation.
