Two pedestrians struck by vehicle in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police are currently on the scene of an accident in Mississauga that involves two pedestrians.

Police say they received a call shortly before 10 a.m. about reports of a collision in the area of Dundas St. East and Haines Rd.

A vehicle has reportedly struck two pedestrians. The pedestrians are currently being assessed by Peel Regional Paramedics.

Police have not released the condition of the pedestrians at this time.

Motorists should expect delays in the area as the investigation continues.


UPDATE: Police say two female pedestrians received minor injuries after the incident.

The driver in question remained on the scene and no charges have been laid.

The roadway is cleared for vehicular travel.
