Two overnight robberies in Mississauga


Peel Regional Police say two robberies took place just after midnight in Mississauga.

The first call was received by police at 12:16 a.m. on Thursday in the area of Duke of York Blvd and Burnhamthorpe Rd.

The two suspects fled and police say a weapon was seen.

21 mins later, a second call was received by Peel police at 12:37 a.m. after a convenience store was robbed in the area of Eglington Ave and Mavis Rd.

No injuries were reported, however, the three suspects allegedly stole cash and merchandise. Police say a weapon was seen.
