Two suspects remain at large after they robbed a Brampton pharmacy.

The pair entered a pharmacy near McLaughlin Rd and Charolais Blvd shortly before 7:30 p.m. August 16. Neither was evidently armed as no weapon was seen.

Police received the call thereafter and are currently investigating. As of police confirmation of the reports around 8:30, little information about the incident was yet available.

The only description of the robbers is that they are two men wearing grey and black hoodies. The pair took off from the scene in a car, however there is no description as yet of the getaway vehicle.

Investigators have not specified what was stolen; whether cash, drugs or both. Pharmacies are a frequent target of robberies across the GTA for narcotics.

In Brampton alone at least 13 pharmacies have been robbed since March. Suspects from Brampton have also been arrested in other robberies in Halton Region and Mississauga.

When accounting for general business armed robberies, there were 43 between May 19 and June 16 in Peel Region, leading to police warning to business owners.
