Two Niagara Falls men charged after police find $11,900 in street drugs

A month-long investigation into street drugs by Niagara Police lead to the arrest of two Niagara Falls yesterday (May 2).

When the police got the okay to raid a house on Kalar Rd. near Niven St., they turned up 194.3 grams of suspected fentanyl and 45 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine with a street value of $11,900.

In addition, they also seized $715 in crime cash and a taser.

Colin David Geisendorf, 38, of Niagara Falls has been charged with two counts of drug possession for trafficking, holding crime cash under $5,000 and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Zachary Durant, 27, of Niagara Falls was also charged with charged with two counts of drug possession for trafficking, holding crime cash under $5,000 and possession of a prohibited weapon, as well as failing to comply with a release order.

They remain in custody until a bail hearing scheduled to take place later today (May 3) via video link to the courthouse in St. Catharines.
