Two men arrested in connection with two year-old Oshawa murder

Police arrested two men from Toronto in connection to an Oshawa murder from 2019.

On August 1, 2019, Durham Police found Devon Patton, 18, dead from multiple gunshot wounds in a Pentland Street townhouse in north Oshawa. It was the sixth murder of the year in Durham Region.

Ramanujan Ratnavel, 22, and another man, 18, are charged with first degree murder. The 18-year-old’s identity is protected by the Youth Criminal Justice act, since he was 16 at the time of the murder.
