Two dead, active situation in Hamilton, man barricaded inside home

Police are telling residents to stay indoors following a double homicide in Hamilton this evening where a person believed to be involved in the incident has barricaded themselves inside a home.
On Saturday (May. 27) shortly after 7 p.m., police responded to a call in the area of Jones Rd. and Barton St. in Stoney Creek.

According to police, two people are reportedly dead.
Officers say it is an active situation as they are dealing with a person barricaded inside a home.
The investigation is ongoing and the identities of the dead have not been made public.
