Two COVID-19 cases reported in schools in Oshawa and Ajax today

Two COVID-19 cases have already been confirmed in Durham schools.
A positive case was reported this morning at David Bouchard Public School in Oshawa – on the first day of school – and at St. Josephine Bakhita Catholic School in Ajax.
The Catholic school board started their school year Tuesday.
There were 1,300 positive COVID-19 cases reported in Durham Region schools during the 2020-21 school year.
In other COVID news, an employee of an LCBO outlet in Port Perry has tested positive for the virus. His last day of work was September 2.
