Two charged after St. Catharines raid seizes $19,000 in illegal drugs, cash

A St. Catharines woman and another man are facing drug charges after a raid of her house saw Niagara Police seize nearly $19,000 in illegal drugs and suspected crime cash.
Under investigation since June, police raided the house on Hemlock St. near Hazel St. yesterday (Oct. 18) and seized 43.4 grams of suspected cocaine, 16.7 grams of suspected fentanyl, and 500 hydromorphone pills with an estimated value of $17,680.
In addition, detectives also recovered one stolen all-terrain vehicle (ATV), one high voltage taser, and $1,290 of suspected crime cash.
Janae Marine Radsma, 31, of St. Catharines has been charged with three counts of illegal drugs for trafficking, possession of crime cash under $5,000, possession of stolen property over $5,000, and possession of a restricted weapon.
Anthony Allan Speirs, 30, of no fixed address has also been charged with three counts of illegal drugs for trafficking, possession of crime cash under $5,000, possession of stolen property over $5,000, and possession of a restricted weapon.
Both remain in police custody, scheduled for a bail hearing later today (Oct. 19) via video link to the courthouse in St. Catharines.
