Two Cats Rescued From House Fire in Brampton

Brampton Fire and Emergency Services responded to a kitchen fire this morning (June 21) at 399 Vodden Street East.

The family was safely taken out of the home with only one receiving minor injuries. The family’s pet cat and her kitten were also evacuated, but the mother cat had to be resuscitated and given oxygen.
Brampton Fire and Emergency Serivces say the fire started around 5:30 am.
The fire was contained in the kitchen.
