Firefighters remain on the scene of a two-alarm townhouse fire in Mississauga’s south end this afternoon.

Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services officials said in a post to social media that no injuries have been reported in the blaze, which erupted at a townhouse on Shawnmarr Road, north of Lakeshore Road and west of Mississauga Road, at about 3 p.m.

The fire has been reportedly put out, but fire officials remain on the scene for investigation and cleanup.

There’s no word from officials on how the fire started.

Officials said earlier that firefighters were quickly on the scene “in an offensive strategy” and the call was raised to a two-alarm blaze in short order.
