Turkish cuisine restaurant will soon open in Mississauga

A Turkish cuisine restaurant that’s popular with customers who visit its original location in Vaughan is soon opening in Mississauga.
Mama Fatma Turkish Cuisine, which offers a large and varied breakfast, lunch and dinner menu for many different tastes, is “coming soon” to a new northwest Mississauga location at 6970 Financial Dr., near Hwy. 401 and Mississauga Rd.
A specific opening date has not yet been determined, but if word of mouth from existing customers in Vaughan is any indication, it appears it’ll be worth the wait for Mississauga customers.
“We have something for you, whether you’re craving a tasty doner kebab or a hearty grilled meat platter. Our menu features a variety of Turkish dishes such as doner kebab, shish kebab, chicken souvlaki and lamb kebab, as well as snacks like Turkish coffee, Turkish pizza, Turkish pide and Turkish baklava,” Mama Fatma owners say on the restaurant’s website. “All of our food is prepared in accordance with halal dietary standards. We also offer options from Lebanese and Persian restaurants.”
The restaurant, which also offers delivery service, has been described by more than one customer in Vaughan as a “hidden gem.”
One online comment from a satisfied customer raved about the menu options.

“Definitely loved the food here. Got the platter and everything tasted so good and flavourful,” the commenter said.
A first-time customer who also commented online was similarly impressed.
“This was my first time at Mama Fatma. My uncle and mom had been raving about it. So, we made a reservation for a group of nine. The food was phenomenal; everything was so delicious,” the satisfied customter wrote. “Will definitely be returning.”
The Mama Fatma Turkish Cuisine original location offers customers breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts, and is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (check that hours apply to all days).
