Truck and train collide in an Ontario town

A pickup truck and train collided at a crossing in an Ontario town on Thursday.

Emergency crews responded to the crash at a railway crossing on High Falls Road in Bracebridge at 1:45 p.m. on July 9, the Ontario Provincial Police said.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered minor injuries, the OPP said.

No other injuries were reported, police added.

High Falls Road was closed from Manitoba Street to just east of the train tracks until about 8:45 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
