Triple stabbing at Whitby bar; two suspects at large

Police are looking for two suspects in connection to an overnight stabbing at a bar in south Whitby that left three people with stab wounds.

On Saturday (Jun. 10) shortly before 12:30 a.m., Durham Regional Police officers were dispatched to the Tap and Tankard bar at 224 Brock St S in Whitby where they found three people suffering from stab wounds.

Two of the victims were rushed to a Toronto-area trauma centre where they are currently in stable condition.  The third victim is recovering from minor injuries.

During the investigation, police say they were assisted by the Tactical Support Unit and the K9 Unit to search the area but were unable to locate the individuals responsible.

Surveillance images of the alleged suspects have been released to the public and police are requesting anyone with information to come forward.

Suspect 1 is described as an Asian man in his early 20s; 5’6″ with a medium build. He was wearing a New Era Chicago Bears black baseball hat with a white logo, a black sweater with a logo on the upper left side, ripped blue jeans and dark coloured shoes.

Suspect 2 is described as a white man in his early 20s who is missing the lower portion of jis left arm. He is 5’8″ with a slim build and has a full beard and an earring in his left ear. He was wearing a black baseball hat styled backwards, a black t-shirt with the words ‘prescribed’ written in white on the front and ‘Rx’ on the back. He had blue jeans on and black shoes.
