A transport truck spilled lumber across Hwy. 115 last night causing a small pile-up in Clarington.

The truck was headed down the highway, just south of the Hwy. 35 exit, around 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 7. The intersection of the two highways sits in Clarington’s northern reaches.

As it drove, the truck jack-knifed in the middle of the road, spilling its load of wooden boards. After the spill, another transport truck and a car crashed into the side of the rolled-over trailer. No one was hurt in the crash.

Whitby-based Highway Safety OPP officer soon arrived at the scene to investigate. All lanes of Hwy. 115 are now open.
