Transport truck flips onto its side near Pearson Airport in Mississauga

Slick road conditions appear to be at least partially responsible after a transport truck left the highway and flipped onto its side near Pearson Airport in Mississauga early this morning (Dec. 12).
A video taken at the scene (see below) shows the trailer laying on its side in the ditch of Hwy. 409, at Viscount Rd. in Mississauga. The time stamp on the video is Dec. 12, at 2:11 a.m.
It appears to be carrying cases of bottled water, but the contents of the truck have not been confirmed.
The video also shows OPP and a tow truck on the scene while a second transport truck can be seen stopped in the far right-hand lane.
It’s not known if the second truck was involved in the mishap or if its driver stopped to help.
OPP remind all drivers to take extra care in winter driving conditions.
