Transport truck collision shuts down all lanes on QEW in Mississauga

Police are responding to a crash that has shut down part of the QEW in Mississauga this afternoon (Sept. 12).
A transport truck struck the concrete barrier on the westbound QEW at Hurontario Street, then struck a wooden sign and an unattended construction vehicle.
No injuries were reported to the transport truck driver or anyone else.
The collision initially closed down all lanes at the scene, with police forcing vehicles off to Hurontario.
Two left lanes are currently open for traffic, while the right lane will remain closed for barrier repair.
Motorists may want to avoid the area.
