The newly revamped (and renamed) TD Coliseum in Hamilton is hosting a two-day job fair next week and is hoping to fill 600 part-time roles.
Job seekers can apply on-site for a variety of positions, including Fan Experience, Operations, Box Office, Security, Food & Beverage and Premium Hospitality
The job far will be held on Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28 from 3-7 p.m. at the First Ontario Concert Hall at 1 Summers Lane in Hamilton.
Eligible applicants, 16 and older are encouraged to bring a résumé, one piece of government-issued ID and any relevant certifications (e.g., Smart Serve, First Aid, Security Guard License) if applying for specialized roles.

Legendary singer-songwriter Paul McCartney will be the inaugural performer at the newly transformed TD Coliseum when it opens in November, with the hitmaker taking the stage Nov. 21 as part of his career-spanning Got Back Tour.
TD Coliseum general manager Nick DeLuco promises an extraordinary night for the first concert at the 18,000-seat facility, touting a “premium experience.”

Oak View Group is in the midst of renovating what was called FirstOntario Centre, a $280 million project that includes a new facade, premium seating, improved acoustics and sightlines and upgraded concourses, as well as touchless and self-serve technologies for faster food and beverage purchases.
Additional improvements include new artist lounges, upgraded production facilities, and electrical and lighting upgrades.
TD was awarded the naming rights for the venue in June.
November will also mark the return of the Toronto Rock of the National Lacrosse League, who played this past season in Mississauga while renovations were being done in Hamilton.
The franchise was actually founded in Hamilton in 1998 as the Ontario Raiders, moving to Toronto in 1999 (and winning six league titles) before returning to Hamilton for the 2021-22 season.
