What started as a traffic stop ended in charges for a Brampton man, including possession of property obtained by crime.

The Caledon OPP says police were on patrol in the area of Mayfield Rd. and Heart Lake Rd. just after 12:30 a.m. last Thursday (Jan. 12) when an officer noticed a vehicle driving without any headlights.

Officers pulled the vehicle over, and police say they began investigating the male driver.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on Feb. 9. None of the allegations have been proven in court, and police did not disclose any additional information about the incident.
