Traffic snarled as transport truck hits electrical wires in Mississauga

A transport truck struck and brought down electrical wires at a busy north Mississauga intersection this afternoon (May 10), snarling traffic in the area.

Peel Regional Police say the truck brought the wires down at Derry and Kennedy Rds. at about 3:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

Police say the incident has resulted in traffic delays and they urge drivers to use alternate routes.
