Traffic restrictions on Hamilton Mountain after watermain breaks

There were traffic restrictions on Hamilton Mountain on Friday evening (Aug. 20) after a watermain broke.

The City of Hamilton said there was a “large” break at 578 Upper James St., that might not be repaired until 6 a.m. on Saturday morning. As a result, there will be traffic restrictions on Upper James between Brucedale Avenue East and Queensdale Avenue East.
