Traffic lights at multiple intersections on Hurontario Street north of the QEW in Mississauga are not working and police say they don’t know when the signals will be repaired.
Peel Regional Police said in a post to social media Friday afternoon “multiple sets of lights” are out on the major road between the QEW to the south and north to King Street, located between The Queensway and Dundas Street.
“This is due to construction in the area,” police said in their post to X, adding they don’t yet know how long the lights will be down.
Police are telling motorists to treat affected intersections as four-way stops if not otherwise directed by a police officer at the scene.
