Traffic lights out at major Mississauga intersection

Residents should be aware of a traffic light malfunction in Mississauga this afternoon.

Police say they were called at 1:19 p.m. for reports of traffic lights out in all directions at the intersection of Dixie Road and Matheson Boulevard East.

Drivers are asked to treat this type of situation as a four-way stop and to follow directions of the officers on scene.

There is currently no estimate for when the lights will be working again.
